Goodgame Studios has a new Press Officer
Hamburg,
Andreas Haase to head up the PR Department
Andreas Haase is now in charge of all PR activities at Goodgame Studios. As the first point of contact for the media at this successful online games developer, his responsibilities will include company and product PR, social media channels and the studio’s new blog (in German). He will also handle internal communications and develop concepts for events and video game expos.
Haase joined Goodgame Studios in February this year, and worked closely with the former Head of PR, Henrike Rohloff, who is now pursuing a new professional challenge. “We immediately decided to select an internal successor, as Andreas Haase already knows the company and the previous PR work inside out. We have therefore guaranteed the seamless continuity of our corporate communications,” said CEO Dr. Kai Wawrzinek, to whom Haase reports. COO Dr. Christian Wawrzinek is equally enthusiastic: “Andreas Haase will further our already successful press activities and campaigns, and will also open up new areas and possibilities. We are lucky to have been able to fill this important role from our own ranks.”
After stays in Göttingen, California, Munich and Berlin, Andreas Haase returned to his home town of Hamburg at the beginning of this year to assume the role of PR Manager. He has studied literature and media sciences, and previously worked in the arts sector and as a freelance journalist. Most recently he acted as assistant to the director of a consulting firm, where marketing was one of his main responsibilities. “I’m delighted at the confidence the company has placed in me and am really looking forward to the prospect of the greater responsibility and the challenges that go with it. Goodgame Studios stands for high-quality casual gaming for the whole family. With our constantly evolving current titles and new products we will be able to continue offering both our players and our partners in the press and in publishing interesting news. Moreover, the global development of the company, which has grown from 120 to 150 employees in the last three months alone, is very exciting.” Andreas Haase is clearly optimistic for the future.
