As the managers of one of Germany’s biggest gaming companies, the Wawrzinek brothers often found themselves in the same position as their players on their way to making a million: seeds that were sown did not always germinate; patience, fighting spirit and lots of strategic skill were necessary. Its creators Goodgame Studios, Germany’s most successful game app developers, are now releasing a mobile version of the game onto the market. ‘Big Farm: Mobile Harvest’ is optimized for mobile gaming behavior and therefore a completely new, independent game. The player inherits an old farm, and with a little economic skill and hard work, the farm can be turned back into a flourishing business once again.
Apple, Google and Amazon already love it
‘Big Farm: Mobile Harvest’ is now available to players worldwide, on iOS, Android and Amazon devices. “The overwhelmingly positive feedback from test users gives us high hopes for the mobile version of ‘Big Farm’.” says Head of Studio, Simon Andrews, whose team created ‘Big Farm. Its successful sister browser game, ‘Big Farm’, provided a template for the mobile version. The game’s unique cartoon style and basic mechanics have been carried over. But a lot of functions from the browser version have been adapted or even completely changed to deliver the best mobile experience possible.
Not just another farm game
‘Big Farm: Mobile Harvest’ is mostly about economic skill. Crops can be harvested and turned into animal food in the mill, animals and other products can be sold at the organic market, and fertilizer for the orchards can be gained from dung. Of course, to do all that takes some manpower, which on the one hand requires living space, and on the other requires pleasant working conditions for the staff; unhappy workers perform worse and thus production costs increase. Careful planning is necessary to manage everything you need to take into account.
To help the player pave the road to success, Tessa, Benny, and their friends are there to give the player hints and tips, as is the player community. ‘Big Farm: Mobile Harvest’ players also have the chance to form cooperatives. This allows players to meet farmers all over the world, share strategic tips with them, and even send cooperative members loyalty points, which can be exchanged for farm items in the cooperative loyalty shop.

Goodgame Big Farm – With the new updates to a new level

Goodgame Studios, one of the leading developers of gaming software in Germany, has embellished and expanded its successful simulation game Big Farm. With the new updates for the cooperative village and the expansion of fishing opportunities, Big Farm offers players a completely new area and gives them the opportunity for greater cooperation, thereby satisfying players’ wishes.
Big Farm has once again introduced a seasonal favorite, the popular Easter egg search event. This year, however, the event has expanded and Easter eggs can now be found hiding all over the Big Farm world.
Goodgame Big Farm is currently updating its Cooperative Village. The feature was initially introduced last year and the first playable elements will be released with the upcoming update. At the request of the players, it is now possible for them to work together even more closely. Thus they now have the chance to construct a village together and to donate their own plants and resources to their cooperative. The new update also adds further aspects. There will be opportunities to manufacture building materials in order to build and expand the cooperative village, as well a horse meadow, a village league where they can compete in tasks as a team against other cooperatives, and even a new character. The latter is the adventurer Yarnacle, the twin brother of the well-established character Captain Barnacle. He tells the players many stories about his love, Matilda MacMuffin, and about his exciting voyages to the mysterious volcano island. At the same time, Yarnacle will offer the player great opportunities when they help him with his tasks. But that’s not all; additional features will be added in the coming months, and players can look forward to a new permanent farm, which is planned for the end of summer.
Last year, the integration of fishing gave players a whole new environment and the chance to not only work hard harvesting their farms, but also to take to the water and fish. At the end of the month, this area will be enlarged and extend to the open sea. The player will see several areas they can send their boats to. In the background, they will also see the mysterious volcanic island that they’ve heard so much about in Yarnacle’s tales. Players have the chance to own their very own fleet of vessels, which they can send out fishing. These boats can be upgraded in order to increase performance, and by hiring a crew and having several people on the boat, players will have a better chance of catching newly introduced fish and seafood.
Big Farm is evolving steadily and is more than just a typical farm game. It offers players several different areas to explore and has a variety that satisfies all preferences. We can continue to look forward to new updates and expansions to Goodgame Big Farm in the future.

Summer festival in Goodgame Big Farm
July 1 marks the first day of summer for Goodgame Big Farm! Players can look forward to a variety of weekend activities and bonuses that will change every week until October.
It pays to stock your barns for the new farm visitors – when players spot them on their farm, they can get really great prices for their products. And since riding under the sun feels so nice, players can occasionally benefit from a horse trainer who will reduce the horseshoe costs and training times of horses. For those who need a break from the hot temperatures, paying a visit to the ice cream truck isn’t only a delicious way to cool down but also great for boosting happiness to the farm – all players have to do is donate a bit of milk and fruit! And if all that isn’t enough, majestic fireworks above the main house let them collect even more dropped items on their farm.
A special edition of the Racing Farmer will keep the players informed on the current events every weekend. On the opening weekend, the farm will welcome the horse trainer and ice cream truck.
Kala’s contest in Goodgame Empire
Starting July 6, Goodgame Empire is all about collecting points, points, and more points! Castle lords can look forward to this exciting, month-long summer event with an Indian flair: Sultan Darsil himself will set up camp in front of the castle and herald in Kala’s contest. During this event, players can complete tasks to collect points. This gives them the chance to acquire valuable rewards such as equipment items, troops, tools, heroes, and decorative items, such as Kala’s pond.
