Dirk Hensen new Head of Communications & Public Affairs at Goodgame Studios

Since October 20th, Dirk Hensen (42) has been in place as the new Head of Communications & Public Affairs at Goodgame Studios. In his new position, Dirk Hensen will take charge of the strategic and content-related organization of corporate communications in order to develop Goodgame Studios‘ presence across various channels.
Hensen‘s last role saw him working as Head of Communications for corporate communication and public affairs activities at Twitter Germany. Before his move to Twitter, he had lead corporate communications for companies such as PayPal Deutschland and Yahoo! Deutschland. From his base in London, he lead Yahoo!‘s international communication strategy for its sponsorship of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. From 2007 to 2011, Hensen was Head of Communications at VZnet Networks, where he was responsible for the communication activities of all VZ social networks. Hensen studied journalism, politics and american studies at the University of Hamburg.

Hensen‘s department consists of eight members of staff. Their areas of responsibility include media relations, public affairs and internal communication, as well as social media and live communication. As the Head of Corporate Communications for Goodgame Studios, he will report directly to Dr. Christian Wawrzinek.
