Hamburg Game Developer Wants to Continue its Success with Goodgame Farmer
Hamburg game developer Goodgame Studios started the open beta phase of their second browser game, Goodgame Farmer. It is a casual multiplayer game giving its players the opportunity to manage a virtual farm by planting and harvesting field crops, corn or trees, herding their animals and buying various useful items from their earned play money. It is possible to make friends from all over the world, chat with them, help them with the farming and make presents. Players collect experience points and awards, keep a personal diary and a photo gallery. The goal is the constant rise through the levels which is rewarded with the activation of further items and accessories for upgrading the farm.
As of now the public can test Goodgame Farmer for free at http://farmer.goodgamestudios.com and start their own little farm with a bonus of 2,500 Farm Dollars. Goodgame Studios’ clearly defined goal is to seamlessly continue the major success of its first title Goodgame Poker, that has swept away more than 1.5 million players all over the world within just a few months of its release.
„Our recipe for success with this title, too, is to reach a very large audience. The game offers a lot of fun in combination with appealing graphics and a concept that is easy to understand. Our games build on the social, interactive cooperation of players of all ages and languages. The user feedback to Goodgame Farmer is already extremely positive. We are very much looking forward to the conclusion of the open beta phase and the great future this game will have,” says Dr. Christian Wawrzinek of Goodgame Studios.
