Goodgame Studios, Germany’s leading developer of gaming software, released a major update for its successful farm simulation game, Goodgame Big Farm. With the introduction of appearances, the browser game’s more than 40 million registered players now have, for the first time ever, the possibility to change the looks of existing buildings! This will give farms a fresh and much more individual visual style as players will be able to choose from various appearance sets.
Appearances are collected and stored in the inventory. They can either be bought or gained during events. Each building needs to be assigned its own appearance to complete the fresh look. The first available set is “Back to the Roots”, which gives the buildings a very natural and rustic style. More unique appearance sets will follow soon – and they will give farmers even more freedom to build up their dream farms.

All 110+ million registered players of these browser games can look forward to valuable rewards and action-packed challenges.
Goodgame Empire: Nail-biter Event
Starting on October 29, a special camp in front of the castle walls will ring in the beginning of the nail-biter event for players level 6 and higher. Until November 30, King Ludwig the Round will give players various tasks that can only be achieved by the bravest of the brave as part of this special Halloween-themed nobility content. In this event, fearless players can collect nobility points in order to rise up in the event rankings. The more successful they are, the bigger the reward they will receive at the end. Players can get their hands on fun event prizes such as bloodcurdling heroes like the Bloodsucker, creepy new equipment sets like the heirlooms of the autumn warrior, and lots more.
Experienced castle lords in the Great Empire aren’t the only ones who can look forward to rewards. Each new player who registers while the event is running will receive a Halloween welcome gift when they reach level 6. This accomplishment will unlock the dragon fountain, an exclusive decorative item, and give their troops reinforcements with powerful skeleton warriors.
Goodgame Big Farm: Trick or Treat
From today until November 1, players’ idyllic farmlands will transform into a stage for spooktacular Halloween events. Farmer George has donned his favorite wizard costume and come to the farm to ask players for help making Halloween jack o’lanterns. To do this, players have to find all kinds of hidden items like candles and pumpkins. Players can find candles while harvesting crops or in their stables and production buildings, but the search for pumpkins hidden around the farm will require a more discerning eye. The fearless collectors will be rewarded with valuable decorations like the eerie haunted castle and grinning jack o’lantern.
The twins, Jim and Jack, will also make sure that players have the choice between “trick or treat” this Halloween. To this end, they haven’t only heavily reduced the prices of their gifts and pranks in the naughty or nice event, they have also expanded their assortment to include new, bone-chilling gifts and pranks. Players can use these to give other farmers a real spook! Good souls can bless their farm friends with mysterious seeds that change harvests, thus ensuring surprises and variety in the hard worker event and cooperative championship! The new gifts and pranks can only be purchased during the Halloween event, but the player can still use them after the event is over – so it’s worth stocking up.
In addition, players can purchase two new, exclusive Halloween backgrounds from the landscape artist Frida Flower to give their farms a true spine-tingling atmosphere. A view like this is sure to leave your farm workers with goosebumps!
