For the Anniversary of Goodgame Empire: 12 million players, two awards – one smash hit

There were presents for Goodgame Empire at gamescom to celebrate its first birthday. The construction and strategy game by Goodgame Studios garnered not one, but two people‘s choice awards in Cologne. On August 14th, it was announced at the European Games Award, „And the winner is … Goodgame Empire.“ The BÄM! Award of Computec Media AG was accepted just three days later. Goodgame Empire won against tough international competition in the categories „Best European Browser Game“ and „Online or Social Game.“
