The building and strategy game made by the Hamburg-based developer Goodgame Studios already has over 52 million registered users. The company is expecting another surge in players thanks to the launch on Kongregate, which records 20 million unique users every month.

Goodgame Studios Looks Back on a Successful 2013

The Hamburg developer continues to break industry trends with record revenue and recruitment figures
Goodgame Studios quadrupled its revenue in 2013 compared to the previous year. While many other game producers had to release staff in 2013, the Hamburg-based developer of online and mobile games more than doubled the size of its workforce from around 300 to over 650 employees.

In January 2014, NTT Com‘s sister company NTT DOCOMO enabled a further 62 million Japanese users to access ‚Empire: Four Kingdoms‘ via its mobile gaming portal game™, making it the first western game next to 75 games from Japanese developers. ‘Empire: Four Kingdoms’ is the mobile version of the prize-winning browser game ‘Goodgame Empire’.
