The construction and strategy title by Goodgame Studios is now available on the world’s largest website dedicated to games
Nearly four million users have registered with the medieval-themed online game Goodgame Empire (http://empire.goodgamestudios.com) since its launch half a year ago. As of today, the 70 million players who visit Miniclip.com each month also have the opportunity to rise from being a minor lord of a castle to become the ruler of their own empire, and battle for control of the kingdom at http://www.miniclip.com/games/goodgame-empire. “We are very pleased to be able to make our successful game available to more enthusiastic users through the world’s busiest online game portal Miniclip, offering them the unique online gaming experience that is Goodgame Empire,” says Patrick Abrar, Head of Sales at Goodgame Studios.
This free farm simulation from Goodgame Studios is now awaiting hard-working farmers to join the fun!
Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life, a little farm is waiting for a new owner. Strawberries are blossoming in the fields, ripe apples are dangling from a tree, and a cow is happily cropping the green grass. In Farmfever (http://farmfever.goodgamestudios.com/), players slip into the role of a farmer managing an idyllic farm. And these virtual farmers will need to be skilled, because they’ll have to harvest fruit, feed animals, till fields, and help their little homestead grow into an impressive farm.
Sowing, harvesting, feeding
There’s always lots to do on a farm. Players can choose from a wide range of different field crops, grains, and even flowers to generate a bountiful harvest. There are also cows, pigs, sheep, and chickens waiting for their food; they’re always happy to get a little attention! As players become more successful, they can till more fields and raise more animals. And their hard work will pay off: at the market stand, players can purchase anything a farmer’s heart could desire. Unusual vegetables, delicious fruits, and exotic trees promise greater profits and help the farm continue to flourish and expand. Players who want to decorate their own farms especially nicely can take inspiration from the extensive lands of their fellow players. With just one click, players can make new friends or invite existing friends to chat. read more…
The latest Goodgame Studios title has been nominated in the “Best Browser Game” and “Best Casual Game” categories by the Academy of the German Game Developer Award.
Half a dozen members of the Goodgame Empire development team (http://empire.goodgamestudios.com/) will be sitting excitedly among the 1,000 other invited guests this Wednesday when the renowned German Game Developer Award is presented for the eighth time. The nomination for the award, which will be presented at a ceremony in front of the monumental backdrop of the Altes Kesselhaus in Düsseldorf, is the team’s well-earned recognition for many months of hard work on the design, graphics, and programming of the strategy game. Since the game launched in August of this year, the team has also updated it every week to add new functions, buildings, and equipment. The nearly three million registered players that the game has garnered within less than four months and the dedicated fans from around the world are almost a greater reward than any award nomination. read more…
