It is a casual multiplayer game giving its players the opportunity to manage a virtual farm by planting and harvesting field crops, corn or trees, herding their animals and buying various useful items from their earned play money. It is possible to make friends from all over the world, chat with them, help them with the farming and make presents. Number of User Registrations Affirms Selection as „Browser Game of the Year“
The success story continues. Goodgame Studios’ casual game Goodgame Poker, which was just chosen as „Browser Game of the Year“, broke the magical barrier of one million registrations. To make the game even more attractive the developers expanded it with a well-received tournament mode. Players can now, if they have a certain number of chips and gold bars, participate in tournaments and measure themselves with other players over several rounds. The table winners advance to the next stage and meet at the Final Table for the big showdown. The overall pot consists of participants’ stakes and is divided between the best players.
With the recent additions to Goodgame Studios’ debut from last year the Hamburg game producer stresses its ambition to conquer the online gaming market and before long become Europe’s most successful company for producing and marketing casual games. A specific reason for the game’s success, which is played by the popular rules of Texas Hold’em, is the possibility to play with friends worldwide, chat and interact. Moreover, many options exist for the player to improve his avatar with various items. Several backgrounds, jewelry, accessories and many more items leave unlimited room for the users’ fantasy.
