What do I want to be when I grow up? Everyone asks themselves this question when they’re young. Unfortunately, since not everyone can be a princess or a cowboy, we invited the children of our employees and their friends to our internal Girls & Boys’ Day to give them some introduction and insight into a variety of professions within our company. On March 13, hundreds of Goodgamers came together to remember and relive their “childhood heroes”. Many of them stuck closely to the theme and donned creative costumes made with an astonishing attention to detail. Football fever has gripped the world. Of course that includes us here at Goodgame Studios.
With our colorful GGS team from 42 different countries across the world, it is all the more fun to get fired up together. For Germany’s opening match against Portugal in group G, we used our new café to screen the match. 200 Goodgamers gathered to cheer for their teams. The duel between the two favorites was hardly a close game, but this went down well with the vast majority of our audience. The event was a great inauguration for our café, which proved itself the perfect place to follow the World Cup. There was beer for all and a hot dog van right outside to provide the perfect half time snack, so that even the Portugal fans had something to be happy about. Read more
