Goodgame Studios’ Premiere at the gamescom: "Participation was Definitely Worthwhile."

This year Goodgame Studios was at the gamescom for the first time. 17 colleagues were representing the company at three booths, socialising, having conversations and recruiting new employees. The latter was the company’s main goal at the world’s greatest fair for videogames.

For the Anniversary of Goodgame Empire: 12 million players, two awards – one smash hit

There were presents for Goodgame Empire at gamescom to celebrate its first birthday. The construction and strategy game by Goodgame Studios garnered not one, but two people‘s choice awards in Cologne. On August 14th, it was announced at the European Games Award, „And the winner is … Goodgame Empire.“ The BÄM! Award of Computec Media AG was accepted just three days later. Goodgame Empire won against tough international competition in the categories „Best European Browser Game“ and „Online or Social Game.“

The Hamburg-based game developer intends to expand its team to 800 staff by the end of 2013, and will be present at the world‘s biggest video games trade show with two stands focusing on recruitment.
