Tips for a faster (Gaming) PC – Part 2

Whether private, professional, or both – computers are an integral part of most of our daily lives. The most important thing is that the technology actually works the way we want it to – otherwise we would live in a constant state of frustration, like when a device runs too slowly.

Fortunately, there’s a remedy: in the first part of our tip series, we explained the quick and easy steps you can take to see initial improvements. Perhaps you’ve already tried some of the tricks, and now you only have a few important programs left in your auto-start, you only have programs installed that you actually use, your hard drive is clean and has no more unnecessary files, and you’ve defragmented them as well.

Slow computers can be very annoying. We all know what it feels like to be excited to play a new game, and only a few seconds later, you want to smash the keyboard into pieces! Maybe the game takes forever to load or the screen constantly freezes or lags – either way, the game is unplayable.

Even at work, where our most essential tools are our PCs, slow systems have no doubt led to several angry outbursts.
